SkillsNB is a joint initiative between the provincial government and SkillSoft, a Fredericton-based company.

The SkillsNB library contains more than 6,000 online assets including courses, videos, interactive simulations, and full-text books in English and French. These resources cover a wide variety of subjects such as business, IT, desktop, leadership, management and certifications.

Every resident can refresh or develop new skills for free in the following professional areas:

• more than 1,200 professional IT courses;
• more than 600 business skills courses;
• more than 3,700 desktop skills courses; and
• more than 120 business and IT certification paths.
