A public/social innovation lab is a facilitated multi-sector process for tackling complex societal and economic challenges that require systems change; challenges to which there are no easy answers, and answers that demand action by many different individuals and organizations.

The NBSPRN/PDC partnership is committed to connect people, organizations and initiatives across sectors, and act as a neutral convener of stakeholders and citizens to experiment, learn and scale new solutions. To do this, we apply tools and techniques from various fields and disciplines. We need to act quicker and wiser on our complex challenges. To make this possible we have partnered with the MaRS Solutions Lab and the GovLab to apply the social innovation labs approach.

October 16 Applicants notified of the results
November 10 and 12 Full day workshops hosted by NBSPRN, PDC, Solutions Lab and GovLab
November 23-24 Lab teams will be invited to attend exclusive coaching sessions with lab experts and present their initiative in a lightning talk round at the GovMaker conference
