The 6th Annual Atlantic Education Graduate Student Conference

The 6th Annual Atlantic Education Graduate Student Conference will be held on June 24, 2017. The theme for this year is “Creative Approaches to Knowledge Building and Dissemination through Graduate Research in Education”.

The aim of this conference is to showcase current graduate student research in education. The conference aims to build research communities and connections among graduate students within the Atlantic region and beyond. We invite students from all areas of educational studies and all levels of graduate study to present their research.

Dr. Ellen Rose will present the keynote address: “Graduate Research in a Post-Truth Era”.

Ellen Rose, PhD, is a professor in the faculty of education at the University of New Brunswick. Her research interests include e-learning, the social and cultural implications of media and technology, new paradigms in instructional design, and cultural studies and critical theory.

DATE: Saturday, June 24
BUILDING: Marshall d’Avray Hall, Main Lobby, UNB, Fredericton, NB.
TIME: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., FREE registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

This conference is open to graduate students, faculty, and members of the general public. Lunch is provided.
