Mount Allison University’s Open House

Mount Allison University’s Fall Open House set for October 17, 2014

Prospective students and their families and friends will get an inside look at Canada’s top undergraduate university during Mount Allison University’s annual Fall Open House, happening on campus on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (registration opens at 8:30 a.m.)

While Mount Allison welcomes visitors to campus year round, Open House is a special opportunity for students to discover all the benefits of a small, tight-knit university community.

Activities include campus tours, an academic fair, mini lectures, as well as personalized information sessions for students and parents. Attendees will learn about activities and University services offered in and outside the classroom such as:

  • Academic Support Services;
  • The Meighen Centre (one of the first university centres in Canada devoted to serving students with learning disabilities as well as accessibility services);
  • Residence life;
  • Mount Allison’s over 180 student clubs and societies.

Faculty, staff, and students will be on hand to answer questions about academic and extracurricular programs.

Visitors will also enjoy lunch in the University’s award-winning dining hall (vegan and vegetarian options always available). To register or for more information, visit http://www.mta.ca/openhouse.
