New Brunswick Innovation Foundation R3 Gala

NBIF is pleased to host the fourth bi-annual R3 Gala to recognize and celebrate the innovations of three of New Brunswick’s top applied researchers with the R3 Innovation Award for Excellence in Applied Research. Presented by Cox & Palmer and Deloitte, the event will bring the research and business communities together and show them the opportunities they can bring to each other.

2014 Honourees:

Dr. Rodney Ouellette – ACRI
Dr. Felipe Chibante – UNB
Dr. Kevin Englehart – UNB

Co-hosts Harry Forestell from CBC News New Brunswick and Martine Blanchard from Radio-Canada Acadie will present three short films, produced by NBIF, that tell the story of each researcher and the impact their work is having on industry and society, both here and around the world. Plus, Saul Singer, co-author of the New York Times best-selling book “Start-up Nation”, will give a riveting keynote about Israel’s renowned success in R&D and how start-ups can be applied in New Brunswick to build an innovation-based economy.
