The Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick (LCNB) is hosting the Peter Gzowski Literacy Dinner with Hon. Frank McKenna on Wednesday, August 13th, 2014 at the Delta Fredericton. A special presentation will honour Dr. Marilyn Trenholme Counsell with the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her vision, leadership and overwhelming commitment to advance literacy in New Brunswick.

Founded by broadcaster and journalist Peter Gzowski in 1986, PGI Events takes place in every province and territory. These events make a difference for Canadian children, adults and families who struggle with reading, writing and numeracy. Funds raised by PGI support New Brunswick family literacy programs, adult learning classrooms, libraries, tutoring programs, and literacy awards.
