Students who are interested in finding out about the process of applying for a Rhodes Scholarship are encouraged to attend an information session on Monday, March 17, 9:30 am, in JDH G5.

The Rhodes Scholarship provides funding for students to pursue graduate studies at Oxford University in Oxford, England. It is a highly prestigious scholarship and provides an amazing opportunity for students. Past winners from St. Thomas University include Matthew Carpenter –Arevalo (2004), Stephen Brosha (2007), and Mary-Dan Johnston (2011).

Rhodes applications will be due in early October. The session is open to all students who may be interested in applying in 2014 or beyond.

Rhodes Scholarships are funded by the will of Mr. Cecil Rhodes and are awarded to outstanding students who excel in the four categories identified by the Rhodes Trust: academics, physical activity, protection of the weak, and leadership.
