University of Guelph – Certificate in Knowledge Mobilization
Did you know that it takes on average one to two decades for new research knowledge to be implemented into policy and practice? While a vast amount of knowledge is created every day, only a fraction of it is effectively mobilized – shared, used, and applied to inform real-life situations.
That’s where we come in.
Engage: Building capacity to understand and use relevant evidence, is now open for registration. This course focuses on processes and products to support target audiences in engaging with new evidence and learn how to build capacity for users to identify, make sense of, and apply relevant evidence in various contexts.
Engage is one of three courses in the Certificate in Knowledge Mobilization. Certificate courses can be completed in any order.
Semester Dates: September 18, 2017 to November 12, 2017 (Online)
