The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) wishes to consult the Canadian research community on potential adjustments to the CFI’s core funding mechanisms: the Innovation Fund, John R. Evans Leaders Fund, College-Industry Innovation Fund, Cyberinfrastructure Initiative and Infrastructure Operating Fund. This consultation will help determine how the CFI’s suite of funds can best meet the needs of the full spectrum of institutions across the country. To this end, a consultation paper was issued in September (please see 2015 CFI Consultation Discussion Paper).

The CFI will be holding a consultation session on Wednesday, October 28th from 9am-11am at the Crowne Plaza Fredericton Lord Beaverbrook, St. John Room. The consultation meeting will be of interest to university administrators as well as researchers and project leaders considering submitting projects to the CFI.
