Data Access for NB Administrative Data Sets
The New Brunswick Institute for Research, Data and Training (NB-IRDT) will be hosting a one-hour session on how to access New Brunswick administrative data sets on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 10 a.m. in Carleton Hall, Room 104. Admission is free and all are welcome. We do request you register ahead of time.
NB-IRDT was established as a research data centre in 2015 to serve the important role of facilitating researcher access to prepared and/or de-identified personal level administrative data in a secure, controlled environment while ensuring the protection of personal privacy of New Brunswickers.
This session will provide a general overview on the role of NB-IRDT with respect to administrative data sets, the steps for researcher/clinicians to follow when seeking access to data sets and the safeguards and mechanisms in place to address privacy protection standards and legislative requirements.
