Training on Program Evaluation Essential Skills Series
The Canadian Evaluation Society – New Brunswick Chapter (CES – NB Chapter), in partnership with the Université de Moncton, invite you to take part in the program evaluation “Essential Skills Series” training. This training was developed by the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), a pan-Canadian organization mandated to the advancement of evaluation theory and practice and aims to help new practitioners and seasoned professionals to gain new skills and competencies to work in this field.
The training will be delivered by Ms. Pernelle Smits, evaluation researcher at l’École Nationale d’Administration Publique and professor within the Public Administration Department at the Université de Montréal. Ms. Smits conducts research on evaluation practices in the health sector including program evaluations implemented across public policy sectors. She also teaches evaluation at the Université de Montréal and at l’École de travail social in Switzerland. She has taught the Essential Skills Series over a number of years and is knowledgeable in behavioral theory, organizational learning and the implementation of public policies.
*While this training will be provided in French only, the Canadian Evaluation Society – N.B. Chapter can offer a comparable training in English if there is sufficient interest.
