Mansbridge Summit

Location: Conservatory of Music Brunton Auditorium, Conservatory of Music Green Room

This annual day-long event is the result of a generous gift from the John E. Irving family and will serve to bring all of us  together for a day of discussion, debate, and learning. The Summit offers the chance to ask questions and address issues  that are vital to Canada’s future — in this case, Canada’s ethical role in the face of a worldwide water shortage. This  interdisciplinary and critical issue has many implications to be discussed, including business, health, development,  environmental, and ecological issues.

The day features an immersive learning experience where students work alongside panelists, production assistants, and  myself to create panel briefings. The challenge at this year’s Summit is focused on global ethics. The event will include a  world-class panel discussion that I will moderate through the voice of all of you —  the students.

I invite you to come, connect, and walk away with a wealth of new experiences.

Sincerely,                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Peter Mansbridge                                                                                                                                                                                            Chancellor, Mount Allison University

The panel will be open to the public and will take place from 7:00 to 8:30 in Brunton Auditorium.
