Save the dates: Adults Living with Autism Summit November 17-18 2017


Please mark November 17 and 18, 2017 in your calendars for CONNECT’s Adults Living with Autism Summit! The event will take place at the Shediac Multipurpose Center, in Shediac, New Brunswick.

The CONNECT Project aims to break down barriers and understand the needs and challenges faced by adults living with autism. The summit will be a mix of conferences, panels sharing knowledge and theories, and flash presentations, all about on the best practices in autism.

This two-day event will be along three streams:

 

1. decision-making in autism

2. autistic adults’ needs and best practices in housing, employment, quality of life, life skills and health, and

3. perspectives of autistic adults.

Call for abstract
We are seeking stories and expertise for our flash presentations (10 minutes) that demonstrate how we can have an impact on adults living with autism regarding their:

  • physical and mental health;
  • quality of life, life skills training and/or;
  • jobs and housing.

You can submit an abstract and specify your topic of interest by emailing connect@mssu.ca.
